Brown U. Josial Cat.:

ype: 92G, without majuscules except repeated “T” in “Titulo”. 39 lines, 182 × 112 mm. Woodcut 5-line capital D with inset flower leaf 2r. The type matches that of the 1482 Bartolomé Segura/Alfonso del Puerto edition of Rolewinck, Fasciculus temporum, though the capital T resembles the more elaborate version found in the 1477 and 1478 Martinez/Puerto/Segura editions of Sanchez de Vercial, Sacramental. The facsimile of the first printed page (leaf 2r) in Vindel, Arte tipográfico and Haebler, Geschichte, is heavily overexposed and does not represent the sharp details of the type, and has also been doctored to fill in some small portions of the page that were repaired with loss of isolated letters, especially in lines 6-12

Catalogued by Pollard with 'Printers unidentified' at the end of the entries for Spain. Bound by Stikeman & Co. in half dark brown morocco and marbled boards; marbled endleaves; spine lettered up, 'CONSTITUCIONES SINODALES DEL OBISPADO DE JAEN. PROBABILITER JAEN, 1478'. Traces of contemporary manuscript on verso of final blank leaf. Rush C. Hawkins notes, dated Oct. 18, 1899, tipped to front flyleaf, with clipped bookseller’s description with price 50 pesetas
