Thompson & Walsh 1977 (apud Baños 2003:241): “The work is only partially a translation of the Legenda aurea. It is clearly related to MSS 780 (B) and 12.688-12.689 of the Biblioteca Nacional and, like them, includes many of the same texts of saints not found in the Legenda aurea.”
